Get to know Vivi Gehan, long-time Digital PiPeep and Vice President of Operations in the latest edition of PiPeeps! When she’s not keeping Digital Pi running smoothly, Vivi can be found in the kitchen or her garden, spending time with her family and playing the piano.
Introduce yourself:
My name is Vivi Gehan and I am the Vice President of Operations.
What is the best thing about your job?
The best thing about my job is that every day is different and I work with everybody across the company. All different departments, new hires, people who’ve been here for a long time and I just get to sort of dabble in all different areas of the company and all different team members and really kind of had my finger on the pulse of everything that’s happening, which is so exciting.
How do you spend your time outside of work?
If I’m not working, I am spending a lot of time with my 2 little girls. They keep us very busy. My husband and I. We have 2 dogs, 2 cats. So a very full home and I love to spend time with them. I love to spend time in the kitchen cooking baking. I’m a big fan of baking and love to make treats. My little one likes to make a lot of cookies and muffins and all sorts of stuff. And I do in the summer love to spend a lot of time outside with flowers in the garden and growing veggies and just being outside in nature.
What is the most unique item in your workspace?
The most unique item in my workspace is probably the presence all the time of this guy. He’s on every call. His tail is often in my face when I’m on video. He’s a lot to say and a lot to add at the worst possible times, when I’m trying to speak on a conference call.
What’s your bucket list vacation spot?
My bucket list vacation spot. I have a long list. I definitely would love to go to Iceland. I really really would love to see the Northern Lights and I know that’s a fantastic place to see them, so that’s probably next on my list of places to travel to when I can.
Do you have any secret talents?
I also play piano and have for a very long time. I have been since… I don’t even remember learning. I was so young, so that’s definitely something that I do as a passion.
What do you like most about working at Digital Pi?
The thing I love the most about working at Digital Pi is the passion that everybody here has my wake up in the morning and I’m genuinely excited to do what I do with the people that we work with.
