Position Summary

The Director of Client Strategy will strive to obtain a deep understanding of our client’s business and their strategic objectives while building strong client relationships that enable them to be a trusted advisor to clients and Digital Pi’s client services team. The Director of Client Strategy is also expected to support new business opportunities. Advanced marketing automation expertise is required, combined with demonstrated experience driving success across sales and marketing people and processes.

Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities

  • Develop trusted, long-term relationships with key client contacts through the presentation of strategic ideas and thought leadership.
  • Ensure meaningful client value is delivered to retain and grow client relationships through a strong mix of best-practice solutions, skills, and capabilities while generating measurable results for clients.
  • Engage key client stakeholders to understand their business – the markets they serve, buyers, business plans, and challenges/opportunities – to identify/recommend technology solutions
  • Work with Client Services consulting team to develop project plans that are tied to strategic goals.
  • Work with the Sales team to develop prospects and capture strategic requirements in Statements of Work.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Plan and participate in client kick-off meetings.
  • Analyze outputs from our work to identify areas of opportunity to provide value to our clients.
  • Participate in thought leadership opportunities, coordinating with Digital Pi Marketing team.
  • Share ideas and insights with the Strategy team and Digital Pi to improve how we deliver high-quality services to our clients while enhancing our reputation and brand in the industry.

Experience

  • 7+ years’ experience using marketing automation tools, preferably Marketo or comparable platform.
  • Previous consulting and/or technology company experience is a significant plus. Experience in a role or position where strategic services are provided, and billable time is a key focus and metric.
  • 3+ years’ experience in Project management.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree a plus.

  • Self-starter with the ability to multi-task and perform under pressure and deadlines a must.
  • Ability to work independently and solve problems. Demonstrated strong work ethic, with good planning and prioritization skills.
  • Must be articulate and possess excellent presentation and communication skills, comfortable presenting to and influencing C-Suite executives.

Compensation

  • Depending upon prior experience.

Other

  • As Digital Pi is a “virtual company,” this is a work-from-home position. Ability and willingness to travel to client locations as necessary.
